GeoThermal Systems: We are enthusiastic about this energy-wise, environmentally sound way of enhancing home comfort. So-called "geoexchange" is a simple technology that draws heat from the ground during the winter and transfers to your house, and in the summer extracts heat from your house and transfers it to the ground. Minimal hardware furnishes you with the most efficient HVAC system on planet Earth.

Geothermal heating and cooling is cost effective because it uses energy so efficiently. This makes it very environmentally friendly, too.

Geothermal heat pumps are similar to ordinary heat pumps, but use the ground instead of outside air to provide heating, air conditioning and, in most cases, hot water. Because they use the earth's natural heat, they are among the most efficient and comfortable heating and cooling technologies currently available

Duct Cleaning: Your air ducts are ideal beathing grounds for fungus, molds, spores and bacteria. They couldn't ask for a darker, damper place to grow! Whenever your heat or air conditioner is on, these contaminants are blown into your home along with dirt and dust.

With the use of top of the line equipment, which includes powerful rotary brushes, high-powered air pressure machines, and powerful vacuums, you can reset assure that you and your family will breathe fresher, cleaner air.

Air Cleaners: To help keep your interior environment hypo-allergenic, we install and maintain a variety of air quality components, including electronic and media-based cleaning systems and ultraviolet mold irradiators. These can significantly minimize the presence of viruses, dust, cooking grease, smoke, and other unwanted particles in your home.

Thermostats: All our thermostats are Energy Star - approved, which means they meet the most demanding guidelines for energy efficiency. Honeywell and White Rodgers thermostats are easy to use, accurate, and can save you up to 30% a year on your heating and cooling bills.

Honeywell is the leading manufacturer of thermostats in the world, and they care a lot about you and your comfort. Whether you are building a new home or upgrading your current heating equipment, Honeywell has the right thermostat for you.

Ductless Units: Use ductless heating and air conditioning to heat and cool homes and buildings without air ducts. The mini split ductless air conditioner system is an excellent alternative for heating and cooling older homes with radiators or baseboard heaters. The ductless split system is small in size and very flexible for zoning because no ductwork is needed. Let us show you the wonderful options you have when choosing the right ductless air conditioning system for you.

Ductless air conditioning is the perfect solution for sunrooms, room additions, computer data rooms, small offices, garage conversions and more!

Fireplaces: Direct Vent Fireplaces, Natural Vent, Vent-Free and Gas/Electric are some options to suit your needs.

Direct Vent Fireplaces provide an efficient, cost effective means for a warm, cozy living environment that you and your family can enjoy.

Direct vent fireplaces do not use the air from the room in order to heat the home; they use the air from outside. The air from outside is transformed into heat and the products of combustion are then returned back outside. The air which was contaminated during the combustion process is then eliminated from the home. This method improves the air in your home and is known to produce better results than what most other types of fireplaces have the capability of providing.

Natural Vent Fireplaces uses room air for combustion and venting terminates above the roofline (like a furnace), More decorative, lower efficiencies, Zero clearance to combustibles, Relatively easy to install, space-saving depth, but requires finishing such as a mantel and surround, Large traditional fireplaces in clean-face or circulating models, Ideal for locating anywhere in the home where B-vent can be installed, Less Cost than Direct Vent.

Vent-free fireplaces operate on natural or propane gas. Most models require no electricity. Natural or propane gas fuels the flame through a permanent line that is connected to a blue-flame/yellow-flame burner or ceramic plaque burner within the heating appliance.

Modern gas fireplaces are an increasingly attractive hearth option for most homeowners. They have the charm of a ‘real' wood-burning fireplace along with the convenience of natural gas or propane.

Humidifiers: During the heating season a whole-house humidifier is strongly recommended for a number of reasons. Proper moisture balance minimizes damage to the wood in your home from excessive dryness; humidifiers can help your family maintain good respiratory health; and dry air makes you feel colder than the actual thermostat setting. You can actually lower your heating bill too, since humidified air feels warmer.

Besides lowering your utility bills, humidity control is very important to your health for a couple of reasons. Mold, which thrives in high humidity, is dormant or dies when the humidity is low. Dust mites also die when the humidity stays below 50%. But remember, the dust mites in your bed rely on you for their source of humidity, so always use mattress covers, pillow covers and box spring encasings.

Ventilation: A healthy and comfortable house has one complete exchange every three hours. Just opening the windows can help remove cooking fumes, dust and dander, plant spores and pollen, and household chemicals from the air you breathe. But money is also going out the window with the loss of heated or cooled interior air.

Zoning Systems: The ultimate in comfort also pays for itself in energy savings. We can set up programmable thermostats that allow you to control the heating/cooling needs of your home by zones. Sleeping and living areas are seldom used simultaneously--why waste money heating or cooling an empty bedroom or formal living room when it's not being used?

How Zoning Works

In most homes you will find only one thermostat controlling the comfort levels for the entire house. This thermostat is usually located in a hallway and will keep the hallway at the temperature you set while other areas of the home range from too hot to too cold. Zoning allows a thermostat in each room (or zone) for individual temperature control.

Energy Star: Energy Star-compliant equipment offer superior energy efficiency. This helps the environment, because when you use less energy, power plants don't have to work as hard, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions. It's a win-win situation since energy efficiency also means lower energy bills--saving homeowners and businesses as much as 30% a year.

A comprehensive assessment of your Montana home for air leaks and combustion equipment (furnace, boiler, hot water tank, and stove) helps you get an overall efficiency and safety picture of where you live. Blower door testing allows us to find the precise location of air leaks, and then measures them. Gas detectors help "read" the safety of your appliances. We also use duct blasters to test leakage points in your ductwork.

Dehumidifiers: We've found one of the best way to control humidity is by pressurizing the interior with dehumidified air. We have researched home dehumidifier products and can help you find the best dehumidifier for your home, whether you are dealing with indoor humidity or need to undergo mold remediation. The first factor to look at is location. Depending on where the humidity is in your home, you may need a small dehumidifier, a basement dehumidifier or a whole house dehumidifier.

Heat Recovery Ventilators: A residential heat-recovery ventilator uses separate blowers to move incoming fresh and outgoing stale air. The heat-exchange core transfers heat to fresh air without mixing the airstreams. The damper automatically stops cold air for defrosting. While necessity may be the mother of invention, it's increasing costs that spawn efficiency. With up to 40 percent of our heating dollar going to air infiltration--otherwise known as drafts--sealing the place up began to seem like the best defense against high heating bills.

The heat-exchange core of a typical HRV is made up of thin aluminum passages. Incoming and outgoing airstreams flow in alternate passages. Heat is transferred from warm stale air to cool air.

Unit Heaters: which use forced air, may be gas or oil fired. These heaters are better suited for smaller greenhouses. The use of poly tubes to distribute heat more evenly minimizes temperature fluctuation. Unit heaters must be properly vented to the outdoors.

Ultra Violet Systems: Ultraviolet UV systems free water of disease-causing microorganisms, without the use of chemicals.

Ultraviolet light is a natural, cost effective, & environmentally friendly disinfection process for use in recreational facilities, homes, and other areas where safe, healthy water is a concern. UV destroys infectious microbes by directing light to their reproductive mechanism.   Consequently, the risk of disease is eliminated.

Wall Furnaces: Wall furnaces are used for small homes or partial areas of a home, and operate on gas and/or electricity to provide heat. No ductwork is required, as the units blow or transmit the heat directly into the room (some models don't have blowers so the warm air gently moves into the room by convection.) Wall furnaces mount to a wall, and the vent (chimney) comes off the top or out the back to the outdoors.

Console Room Heaters: This type of heater is set in one room and operates on natural gas or propane which is piped to the unit. Unit is vented to the outdoors. It can heat one or more adjacent areas of the home. Since no electricity is required, it will even operate during a power outage. Thermostat is included with unit.

Garage Heaters: Garage heaters are used with natural gas. If natural gas isn't available, units are available for use with propane as well. These garage heaters offer a highly efficient, extremely durable unit design.
